Worsley village and the older stock
The village and the streets around the Green sit in a conservation area, and plenty of the housing there predates anything resembling a modern doorway. Turning stairs, narrow hallways and original doors are exactly where a wardrobe or a sideboard gets stuck, so we measure the awkward pieces at the survey and decide then whether they come apart, go out of a window, or need a different route.
