Two student accommodation blocks were going through a full refurbishment. Before the trades could start, all 80 apartments had to be stripped back to the bare floor.
The Challenge
Two sites in two cities running at the same time, a tight programme set by the trades waiting to start, and a large volume of waste to clear and dispose of.
The Approach
Working alongside the main contractor, we put a 7-strong crew with team leaders and a Luton van on each site.
We lifted the carpets and underlay, took up the grippers and prepared the floors, and removed the tables, chairs, TVs, sinks, toilets and everything else that was going. All the waste was taken away.
The Result
Handed over on time, with the floors ready for the next trades to start straight away. The client was happy with the job.
